Zahra Faraji is an award-winning Iranian-Canadian filmmaker based in Toronto. She has years of experience as a script writer and assistant film editor.
Zahra’s short films have been promoted by film festivals, earning her awards and recognition. Her previous experience of working closely with successful Iranian filmmakers has made her develop a good sense of storytelling.
She is passionate about social issues and her stories often relate to what affects human society.
Reza Shirvani is an Iranian-Canadian film editor based in Toronto, Canada. He was always passionate about art and he attended Iran TV & Radio Specialized High School where he found himself a great fit. Reza earned his Bachelor’s degree in Filmmaking from Soureh University, Tehran in 2000. His passion toward filmmaking and his respect for Bahram Dehghani’s work led him to editing room. Bahram as a successful film editor became Reza’s mentor and the two started working together as co-editors. Reza has been nominated as best editor few times in Iran and he and Bahram Dehghani have together won best editing award for Barefoot in Paradise (2007) directed by Bahram Tavakoli. Reza is the co-founder of Rezara Production in Toronto.
